Dr. Peter Krampf



Dr. Peter Krampfs’ expertise is based on more than 20 years of experience in management, consulting and science. With his comprehensive theoretical and practical knowledge, he strengthens his clients’ know-how and skills to jointly develop innovative changes within the team that accompany and optimize the business model. There he not only answers his clients technical questions, but also coaches and mentors numerous top-managers.

After his studies at the University of Bayreuth, Dr. Peter Krampf began his career in the procurement department of the Volkswagen AG in Wolfsburg and received his PhD in business administration with a thesis on strategic questions of procurement management. In 2000 he moved to the strategic consultant agency McKinsey & Company in Cologne. As project manager, he supported the development of the Southeast European region. In the context of this international activity, Dr. Peter Krampf transferred to Zagreb for the founding of the bureau. In 2005 he started working for the energy provider EnBW where he, as Chief Procurement Officer and managing director of the Shared Service Centre, was responsible for 2000 employees. Dr. Peter Krampf was subsequently a member of the top executive committee and also active in the advanced corporate management team, with his responsibility in corporate strategy, investment management and merger & acquisition.

Since 2008 Dr. Peter Krampf teaches production economy and industrial management at the University of Bayreuth. Furthermore, he is a recognized expert, writer of several scientific articles and author of the bestseller “Beschaffungsmanagement – Eine praxisorientierte Einführung in Einkauf und Materialwirtschaft”.

Since 2013, Dr. Peter Krampf is a management consultant with focus in procurement management, strategy and process management. He also lends his support by addressing questions on strategic growth issues, as well as complex programs for cost optimization. His client base reaches across industries and is international.
